We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Economics Teacher

Location: Osengere, Ibadan – Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time
School Section: Secondary Section

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Economics to secondary school students in line with the approved curriculum (WAEC/NECO)
  • Identify and adopt the most effective teaching approaches for the students.
  • Maintain accurate academic records and submit reports as required
  • Support students’ academic and personal development
  • Ensure classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
  • Identify and teach skills that will develop students’ ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
  • Lead subject or identified area within the School Improvement Plan and ensure progress is at least good.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics or a related field (B.Ed, B.Sc, or B.A)
  • Teaching qualification (TRCN certification is an added advantage)
  • Minimum of one (1) year teaching experience
  • Strong knowledge of the Nigerian secondary school curriculum
  • Good communication and classroom management skills
  • Ability to use basic educational technology is an added advantage.

Salary
N60,000 / Month.
