We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Facility Officer

Location: Kado, Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Facility Manager will be Responsible for the effective maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of company facilities.
  • The role oversees property upkeep, contractor coordination, utilities monitoring, security supervision, and tenant support.

Core Responsibilties

  • Conduct routine inspections to ensure buildings and grounds remain safe, clean, and functional.
  • Coordinate vendors, maintenance staff, cleaners, and security personnel; ensure all work meets required standards.
  • Monitor electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems; follow up on faults and scheduled servicing.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations; carry out safety checks and maintain incident reports.
  • Address tenant facility complaints and support smooth onboarding processes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, repairs, inventory, and facility reports.
  • Support budget preparation and promote cost-effective facility solutions.
  • Oversee security operations, access control, and protection of company assets.

Requirements

  • Minimum of an OND / HND in a relevant field.
  • Must have 2-3 years experience as a facility manager.
  • Must have excellent driving skills and a valid driver’s license.
  • Strong knowledge of the Abuja Road network.
  • Good technical/maintenance knowledge, communication skills, and ability to multitask.
  • Understanding of safety standards and facility operations.
  • Supervisory and interpersonal abilities.
