We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Civil Engineer

Location: Nigeria

Job Description

  • A Civil Engineer plans, designs, builds, and maintains essential infrastructure like roads, bridges, dams, water systems, and buildings, analyzing data, creating blueprints with software, assessing project feasibility (cost, environment, safety), and ensuring compliance with regulations, managing construction, and collaborating with stakeholders.
  • They balance office design work with on-site supervision, focusing on creating safe, sustainable, and functional public works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Planning: Analyze survey data, maps, and reports to create plans for structures and systems.
  • Feasibility Studies: Evaluate project viability, considering costs, environmental impact, and site conditions.
  • Software Use: Utilize design software for transportation systems, hydraulics, and structural planning.
  • Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed estimates for materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Project Management: Oversee construction, manage schedules, direct site teams, and ensure quality standards.
  • Compliance: Ensure projects meet local, state, and federal regulations, submitting permits as needed.
  • Testing: Analyze soil and material test results for foundation and structural integrity.
  • Site Supervision: Monitor construction progress and provide technical expertise.
