Job Title: Production / Installation Personnel

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

  • We are seeking a Production Assistant to support our Production Engineering Manager in the day-to-day operations of our precast concrete manufacturing facility.
  • The ideal candidate will be a hands-on individual with technical aptitude and a strong work ethic who thrives in a fast-paced, industrial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Production Engineering Manager in overseeing and coordinating daily manufacturing and installation activities.
  • Prepare molds, materials, and equipment needed for production runs.
  • Operate or assist in operating machinery used in the production of precast concrete panels.
  • Monitor the production process to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Record production data and report any inconsistencies or equipment malfunctions.
  • Assist in the inspection of finished products to ensure they meet specified standards.
  • Support in maintaining inventory of raw materials, tools, and consumables.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production floor.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure machines are well-maintained and serviced.
  • Follow all company safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
  • Provide support in troubleshooting production issues and implementing process improvements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, Technical Certification, or equivalent; vocational training in construction or industrial production is a plus.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a production, construction, or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to follow instructions.
  • Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and follow deadlines.
  • Basic understanding of safety procedures in an industrial setting.
  • Team player with a proactive and responsible attitude.
  • Experience in concrete production or construction materials manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with precast concrete molds, batching, or casting processes.
  • Basic mechanical skills or knowledge of machinery used in production.

Work Conditions:

  • This position requires working in an industrial production environment with exposure to dust, noise, and heavy machinery.
  • Shift work and overtime may be required depending on production schedules.
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.

Salary
N60,000 – N70,000 monthly.
