Job Description:
The Procurement Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with the company’s operational goals. This role requires overseeing the entire procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management. The successful candidate will lead a team of procurement officers, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. They will analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks. The manager will collaborate closely with finance to manage budgets and ensure timely payments, while also coordinating with other departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure seamless supply of goods and services. This role demands strategic thinking, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex supplier networks effectively.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement management within manufacturing, FMCG, or related industries.

Proven track record of developing and implementing procurement strategies that optimize cost and quality.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Ability to analyze complex data and market trends to inform decision-making.

Knowledge of relevant procurement laws and regulations.

Certification such as CPSM or CPP is an advantage.
