Job Description:
The Procurement Officer will manage the sourcing and purchasing of pharmaceutical products, medical supplies, and office equipment. Responsibilities include evaluating supplier proposals, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. The officer will maintain accurate procurement records, monitor inventory levels, and collaborate with warehouse and finance teams to ensure efficient stock management and payment processing. They will also be responsible for vendor performance evaluations and ensuring compliance with company procurement policies and regulatory standards. This role requires attention to detail, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Job Requirements:

Degree or HND in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in procurement within healthcare, retail, or pharmaceutical sectors.

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

Familiarity with procurement software and inventory management systems.

Ability to analyze supplier performance and market conditions.

Knowledge of procurement regulations and compliance standards.
