Job Description:
The Procurement Officer will manage the sourcing and purchasing of agricultural inputs such as cocoa and oil palm supplies for the regional office. Responsibilities include vendor identification, bid evaluation, contract negotiation, and purchase order management. The officer will ensure timely delivery of quality goods and services, maintain procurement records, and liaise with finance for budget adherence and payment processing. The role requires close collaboration with production teams to forecast demand and optimize supply chain efficiency. The officer must ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, conduct supplier performance evaluations, and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in procurement, preferably in agriculture or related sectors.

Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

Familiarity with procurement software and regulatory compliance.

Ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance.
