Job Title: Loading Officer

Location: Ikeja (7Up Bottling Company Depot), Lagos
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Loading Officer to oversee and coordinate all truck loading and offloading operations at our client’s facility.
• The ideal candidate will ensure operational efficiency, maintain accurate records, and support drivers in meeting performance targets.
• This role requires strong organizational skills, data management expertise, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily truck loading and offloading operations.
• Liaise with drivers, 7Up staff, and workshop officers to ensure smooth logistics and quick truck turnaround.
• Collate, update, and interpret data on loading activities and driver allowances.
• Use Xero accounting software to update and track allowances and expenses.
• Dispatch trip allowances to drivers and reconcile expenses.
• Resolve operational bottlenecks to ensure drivers meet set performance targets.
• Prepare daily and weekly operational reports for management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in logistics, operations, or accounting (preferred).
• Proficiency in accounting software (preferably Xero).
• Strong organizational and data management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to multitask, manage field operations, and work under pressure.
• Language: Fluency in English; Hausa proficiency is an added advantage.

Salary and Benefits

• N120,000 – N150,000 / Month (Depending on experience)
• Data allowance
• Performance bonus (linked to drivers meeting targets)
