Job Title: Professional Driver

Location: Ajah – Eti Osa, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Driver is responsible for safe, timely transport of company vehicles, staff, clients (when needed), goods, and workshop materials.
• This involves picking up/delivering vehicles for projects, assisting logistics, and ensuring all movement meets premium brand standards.
• Candidate must be reliable, safety-conscious, and know routes in and outside Lagos.

Key Responsibilities
Vehicle & Staff Movement:

• Transport company vehicles to client locations, paint shops, registration offices, service stations.
• Drive staff/management to assignments, meetings, or events.
• Pick up/drop off parts, materials, packages.

Customer Vehicle Handling:

• Handle luxury/custom vehicles carefully, avoiding damage/misuse.
• Check and document customer vehicle condition during pickups/deliveries.
• Maintain a courteous, professional client interaction.

Vehicle Maintenance & Inspection:

• Daily checks: oil, water, brakes, tires, fuel, lights before trips.
• Report faults or servicing needs immediately to Admin/Operations.
• Keep company vehicles clean inside and out.

Logistics & Errands:

• Run official errands (banks, offices, suppliers, government agencies).
• Collect and submit delivery notes, receipts, and trip documents accurately.

Compliance & Record Keeping:

• Maintain accurate trip logs and fuel usage records.
• Follow traffic laws and company driving policies strictly.
• Avoid speeding, reckless driving, unauthorized vehicle use.

Support Workshop Operations:

• Assist in moving vehicles between departments (e.g., Wrap to Paint).
• Help physically with loading/unloading materials when needed.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Punctuality & Reliability: 100% on-time arrivals daily.
• Zero Accidents or Infractions: No traffic violations or avoidable accidents quarterly.
• Vehicle Condition: Maintain 100% clean, functional vehicles.
• Documentation & Logs: 100% accuracy in trip and fuel logs.
• Client Vehicle Handling: Zero damage to client vehicles.
• Professional Conduct: Full compliance with dress code, communication, and behavior standards.

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum SSCE/WAEC
• Valid Nigerian driver’s license (Class B or D preferred)
• Minimum 3 years driving experience, preferably corporate/automotive
• Knowledge of Lagos routes and ability for long-distance drives (Abuja, Ogun, etc.)
• Basic vehicle maintenance understanding
• Accurate record keeping and instruction following
• Polite, presentable, respectful
• Flexible to work weekends or odd hours
