Job Title: Boutique Manager (Female)

Reports To: Retail Operations Manager / Store Director

Job Summary

  • The Boutique Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the boutique, driving sales performance, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and maintaining the store’s brand image.
  • The role combines sales leadership with operational efficiency to deliver a premium shopping experience and achieve business targets.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service:

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective team management and personal selling.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build lasting client relationships.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.

Store Operations:

  • Oversee day-to-day boutique operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure the store is clean, well-organized, and visually appealing in line with brand standards.
  • Monitor cash handling and financial transactions to prevent losses.

Inventory & Stock Management:

  • Manage stock levels, conduct regular inventory counts, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and head office for timely replenishment.
  • Minimize stock loss through effective controls.

Staff Management & Development:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise boutique staff.
  • Set performance goals, monitor progress, and provide coaching and feedback.
  • Create staff schedules and manage attendance.

Visual Merchandising:

  • Implement visual merchandising guidelines to enhance product appeal.
  • Organize seasonal displays and promotional setups.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Prepare sales reports and performance analysis for management.
  • Identify trends, opportunities, and challenges to inform business strategies.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Sales growth and revenue targets met.
  • Customer satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Inventory accuracy and stock turnover.
  • Staff performance and productivity.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3 – 5 years proven experience as a Boutique Manager, Store Manager, or in a similar retail leadership role.
  • Strong sales and customer service skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and retail software systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet targets.
  • Strong sense of style, fashion trends, and brand presentation.

Salary
N50,000 – N80,000 monthly.
