Green Tree Farm, an animal and crop Farm, is recruiting suitable candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Fish Farm Manager

Location: Enugu
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

  • Feeding fish by hand
  • Grading fish by size, moving them to bigger tanks or ponds
  • Checking and maintaining water quality
  • Checking fish for disease, preventing and treating infection
  • Making sure hygiene standards are high to prevent disease
  • Draining and cleaning tanks, filters and nets
  • Washing the ponds
  • Keeping records of the numbers and sizes of fish stocked
  • Plan breeding programs and grow schedules to obtain maximum efficiency.
  • Pay close attention to detail in order to avoid fish losses
  • Getting fish ready for sale, gutting them and packing them for transport
  • Fish processing.
  • Any other work as may be assigned by the farm owner.

Expected Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Candidates should possess HND / Bachelor’s Degrees with 3-10 years of relevant work experience.
  • Updated knowledge of fish health and nutrition
  • Be organized, have good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Have the ability to multitask.
