We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Architect

Locations: Abuja (FCT) & Enugu
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Head of Design / Project Manager

Job Purpose

  • The Architect will be responsible for designing and supervising the construction of residential and commercial real estate projects.
  • The role involves creating functional, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing architectural designs that align with client needs, company goals, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Design and Concept Development:

  • Develop architectural concepts and detailed designs for real estate projects.
  • Prepare drawings, plans, and 3D models using CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).
  • Ensure designs comply with building codes, zoning laws, and other regulations.

Project Planning & Coordination:

  • Collaborate with engineers, quantity surveyors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare BOQs and material specifications for architectural works.
  • Coordinate design changes during construction to ensure compliance with original plans.

Site Supervision & Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and adherence to design specifications.
  • Identify and resolve design-related issues promptly during the construction phase.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality control measures.

Client Engagement & Presentation:

  • Meet with clients to understand their requirements and present design proposals.
  • Prepare visual presentations, mood boards, and 3D renders for client approvals.

Documentation & Reporting:

  • Prepare architectural reports, approvals, and as-built drawings.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation for all design and construction stages.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Timely completion of architectural designs and project drawings.
  • Compliance with project budgets and timelines.
  • Accuracy and quality of design documentation.
  • Client satisfaction ratings on design and functionality.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (Master’s Degree is an advantage).
  • Experience: 3–5 years in Architectural design and supervision of real estate projects.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, or other design software.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and local regulations.

Soft Skills:

  • Creativity and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Certifications: ARCON (Architects Registration Council of Nigeria) registration preferred.
