We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Account and Admin Manager

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
Accounting and Financial Management:

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Accounts Payable (AP) & Receivable (AR): Manage all vendor invoices, process payments, and ensure timely collection of outstanding guest and corporate accounts (Direct Billing).
  • Daily Revenue Control: Oversee the Night Audit reconciliation process, verify daily income reports, and ensure all revenue (room sales, F&B, events) is accurately recorded and banked.
  • Budgeting & Control: Assist the General Manager in preparing the annual operating budget and monitor expenditure against the budget to identify and report variances.
  • Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely calculation and filing of all statutory taxes and deductions in compliance with Nigerian regulations (e.g., PAYE, VAT, Pension contributions).
  • Audit: Serve as the primary liaison for external auditors and manage internal financial controls to safeguard hotel assets.

Administrative and Office Management:

  • General Administration: Oversee the efficient running of the hotel’s administrative office, including managing records, filing systems, and office supplies.
  • HR Support: Assist the General Manager with basic Human Resources administrative tasks, such as maintaining confidential employee files, managing payroll preparation, and supporting new hire onboarding documentation.
  • Procurement Support: Work closely with the Storekeeper and purchasing team to manage inventory reconciliation, monitor costs of goods sold (COGS), and ensure purchase orders are correctly processed.
  • System Management: Manage and ensure the proper function of all office equipment, communication systems, and financial software (PMS/Accounting Software).

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with relevant experiences.
