Job Description
Class Suites Hotels & Apartment is a modern styled hotel chain with numerous locations in Lagos, Abuja, Ibadan and is close proximity to the Airport.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Accountant
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Budget Management: Assisting in the creation and monitoring of the hotel’s annual budget and tracking financial performance against forecasts.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Processing vendor invoices, managing payments, and overseeing collections to ensure timely cash flow.
- Payroll: Administering and controlling payroll for hotel employees.
- Reconciliation: Performing daily financial reconciliations and reconciling bank statements.
- Tax Compliance: Ensuring the hotel complies with all federal, state, and local tax regulations, including preparing and processing sales tax.
- Financial Analysis: Conducting analysis of financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement in financial operations.
- Auditing: Collaborating with auditors during financial audits and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Financial Reporting: Preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for senior management.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 3 – 5 years experience.
