We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• Prepare and examine financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Manage general ledger entries, including adjusting journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure timely filing in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for cost reduction or efficiency improvement.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process, providing data and insights to management.
• Coordinate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records for easy retrieval and audit readiness.
• Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and accounting standards to ensure ongoing compliance.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 1 – 2 years of experience.

Salary
N100,000 – N150,000 per month.
