Job Title: Accountant Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Officer to join our team.
  • The candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, monitoring budgets, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations.
  • Handle general ledger entries and journal postings.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Record, prepare and analyze daily financial transactions.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal controls.
  • Support audit and financial reviews.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience as an accountant.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in the preparation of the ledger and final accounts.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage).
  • ICAN/ACCA certification is an advantage.

Salary
N180,000 Monthly.
