We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant (Restaurant)

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records of all transactions.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports including sales, purchases, and expenses.
  • Reconcile cash, bank statements, and credit card transactions.
  • Track accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Assist in preparing and monitoring restaurant budgets.
  • Analyze financial data to identify areas of cost reduction and profit maximization.
  • Monitor inventory costs, supplier invoices, and wastage to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Process staff payroll accurately and on time.
  • Maintain records of employee salaries, benefits, deductions, and statutory payments.
  • Ensure timely filing and remittance of VAT, PAYE, and other statutory obligations.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare financial documents for audits and liaise with external auditors.
  • Manage daily cash flow and ensure proper cash handling by the cashier/front desk.
  • Ensure timely deposits of restaurant income into the company’s bank account.
  • Monitor petty cash usage and reconcile accordingly.
  • Provide financial insights to management for decision-making.
  • Advise management on financial risks, opportunities, and improvements.
  • Work closely with procurement and operations to align financial goals with business needs.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess an HND / BSc Degree with 2 – 3 years work experience.

Salary
N120,000 – N150,000 Monthly.
