We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Assistant Decorator (Contract)

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Reports To: Head of Design Operations
Contract: Project based

Role Overview

  • The Assistant Decorator will be part of the design and installation team, supporting the creative process from concept to completion.
  • This role involves assisting with the setup, installation, and takedown of festive decorations at various client sites, ensuring that each space reflects Eden Forever’s signature standard of beauty and excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the design team in preparing, assembling, and installing décor pieces for homes, offices, malls, and events.
  • Support the setup and arrangement of lighting, ornaments, floral displays, and other decorative materials.
  • Ensure all decoration items are handled with care, properly stored, and maintained.
  • Help with site preparation and cleanup during and after installations.
  • Follow design specifications and creative direction from the Lead Decorator or Supervisor.
  • Provide on-site assistance during large-scale installations and festive events.
  • Support logistics and inventory management of decoration materials.
  • Uphold safety standards and ensure all installations are secure and presentable.

Requirements

  • Minimum of SSCE / OND qualification.
  • Prior experience in décor, events, or creative work is an advantage (not mandatory).
  • Ability to work with your hands, lift moderately heavy items, and work at heights when required.
  • Keen eye for detail and a passion for beautiful designs.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed during festive seasons.
