At Contec Agro, we develop organic farming products such as bioseed, biofertilizer, and bioplanting to help Africa develop its agricultural industry and ensure food security for the future. Our products are used at all stages of farming, including seed treatment, root dipping, soil application, and dip irrigation.

Our laboratories culture tissues, grow and analyze bacteria, and use biotechnology to develop plants that are immune to today’s harms.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Bus Driver

Locations: Eruwa – Oyo and Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

  • We are seeking a reliable and experienced Bus Driver to transport staff between Ibadan and our farm in Eruwa.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for safely driving staff from Ibadan to NIKO farm on Mondays and returning them on Fridays. In addition, the driver will be engaged in other driving-related activities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Valid [Country/State] Driver’s License with a clean driving record with 3 – 6 years work experience.
  • Proven experience as a driver in a professional setting, preferably for corporate or executive transportation.
  • Strong knowledge of local road networks and traffic laws.
  • Ability to perform minor vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  • Excellent time-management skills and ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
  • Professional appearance and strong communication skills.
  • Trustworthy, reliable, and punctual with a strong commitment to safety and security.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check, including personality assessment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years and maximum 10 years driving experience.
  • Possess a valid driving license.
  • Previous experience driving for expats or executive personnel is a plus.
  • Familiarity with using GPS devices and mobile navigation applications.
  • Basic mechanical skills for emergency situations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with clients and colleagues.
  • In-depth knowledge of Ibadan–Eruwa routes and vehicle operation.
  • Proven experience in driving large vehicles safely.
  • Must reside in or around Ibadan.
  • Good sense of responsibility, punctuality, and professionalism.

  • Competitive salary: N100,000 – N105,000 per month.
