• We support to enhance guest experiences while driving operational excellence and profitability for our clients. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Project/Development Officer to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary

• The Business Project / Development Officer will oversee and manage strategic projects that drive business development, operational efficiency, and profitability within our hospitality consulting and management business.
• This role requires a deep understanding of the hospitality industry, strong project management capabilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Project Management:

• Lead and manage high-impact projects from conception to completion, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining timelines, deliverables, resources, and budgets.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful delivery.

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and team members throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate regular communication and reporting to keep all parties informed of project status and any potential issues.

Strategic Planning:

• Collaborate with senior management to identify strategic initiatives and opportunities for growth within the hospitality sector.
• Conduct market analysis and research to inform project direction and ensure competitiveness.

Operational Excellence:

• Analyze existing processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in project execution.
• Implement best practices in project management and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Team Leadership:

• Mentor and guide junior project officers and team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
• Facilitate training sessions or workshops to improve team skills and knowledge in project management practices.

Budget Management:

• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all projects are delivered within financial constraints.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting project performance and areas for improvement.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure that all project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and align with client requirements.
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify successes and areas for future enhancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of project management experience within the hospitality or related industries.
• Proven track record in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of hospitality operations, trends, and best practices.
• Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello) and Microsoft Office Suite.
