Our focus is to bring out-of-the-box meal selections to Lagos’ on-the-go consumer. Job Summary
- We are seeking a creative, organized, and experienced Chef to oversee kitchen operations, develop innovative recipes, ensure consistent food quality, and maintain high hygiene standards.
- The ideal candidate should have a passion for culinary arts, strong leadership abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities
- Design and update menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Lead food preparation and presentation to ensure high-quality dishes.
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, ensuring proper training, scheduling, and workflow.
- Monitor food cost, waste control, portion control, and kitchen efficiency.
- Maintain hygiene, health, and safety standards in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely supply of fresh ingredients and kitchen inventory.
- Conduct taste testing and quality control for all dishes served.
- Support recipe development and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare special dishes for events, tastings, or product development sessions.
- Monitor kitchen equipment and coordinate necessary maintenance or replacement.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification with at least 2 years experience.
