IDMANN Institute provides training in professional development and technical entrepreneurship through our College of General Studies and the School of Experiential Learning, respectively. We also provide secondary and pre-secondary tutorial services through IDMANN Academy. All our courses are offered in live sessions with seasoned instructors. Job Title: Chief Security Officer (CSO)

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly experienced, disciplined, and professional Chief Security Officer (CSO) to oversee and manage all security operations within the organization.
  • The ideal candidate must have previous formal security training and strong leadership abilities..

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures
  • Supervise and coordinate all security personnel and daily security activities
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and enforce preventive security measures
  • Monitor surveillance systems and respond promptly to security incidents
  • Liaise with law enforcement agencies and emergency services when necessary
  • Train, assess, and discipline security staff
  • Prepare security reports, incident logs, and recommendations
  • Ensure compliance with institutional safety and security standards

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Previous professional security training (military, paramilitary, private security training, or certified security institutions)
  • Proven experience supervising or leading a security team
  • Strong understanding of security protocols, emergency response, and risk management
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Physically fit, alert, and disciplined
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Clean disciplinary and criminal record
  • Relevant security certifications are an added advantage

Preferred Qualifications (Added Advantage):

  • Background in military, police, civil defense, or reputable private security firms
  • Experience in institutional or educational facility security
  • First aid or emergency response certification
