Job Title: Civil Engineer Intern

About the Role

  • We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer Intern to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will assist in planning, designing, and supervising construction projects, gaining hands-on experience in both field and office operations.
  • This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and contribute to meaningful infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing engineering drawings, layouts, and project documentation.
  • Support site engineers in supervising construction activities to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Conduct data collection, material testing, and site inspections.
  • Participate in project planning, budgeting, and progress reporting.
  • Collaborate with the design and project management teams on ongoing projects.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a minimum of a Second Class Upper Division (2:1) or Upper Credit in HND / BSc Degree from a recognized institution.
  • 0-2 years of relevant work experiencein Civil/Structural Engineering role.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or other relevant engineering software is an advantage.
  • Applicantsmust not be older than 28 yearsat the time of application.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a structured engineering environment.
