We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Compliance Officer
Location: Lagos
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure regulatory compliance across all functions
- Develop and update internal compliance policies and procedures
- Conduct regular internal audits and compliance reviews
- Identify potential compliance risks and propose mitigations
- Investigate and resolve compliance issues
- Keep up-to-date with changes in relevant laws and regulations
- Maintain and document compliance records
- Oversee anti-money laundering (AML) and fraud prevention programs
- Manage compliance incidents and escalate as necessary
- Conduct third-party risk assessments
- Support the development of a compliance culture
- Collaborate with legal and risk teams on compliance matters
- Prepare compliance reports for senior management.
Requirements
- Law Degree or related qualification
- 3+ years in financial compliance
- Knowledge of Nigeria financial regulations
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent documentation skills.
