Job Title: Construction Quantity Surveyor

Job Overview

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor on a contract basis to support cost estimation, budgeting, and financial control of our interior design and architectural projects.
• The ideal candidate will work closely with the design and project management teams to ensure cost-efficiency and value delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for interior design and fit-out projects
• Analyze drawings and specifications to provide detailed bills of quantities (BOQs)
• Source and negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors
• Monitor and track project costs throughout the project lifecycle
• Evaluate and process variations and change orders
• Prepare interim valuations and final accounts
• Ensure all financial and contractual aspects are properly managed
• Conduct site visits to assess work progress against budgets
• Collaborate with architects, designers, and contractors to ensure alignment on scope and cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the interior design/architectural space
• Strong knowledge of construction and interior finishing materials
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft)
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
