Job Title: Consultant Neurologist

Location: Lagos

Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role for a Consultant Neurologist located in Lagos.
• The Consultant Neurologist will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with neurological disorders. Day-to-day tasks include conducting patient consultations, performing neurological examinations, interpreting diagnostic tests such as EEG, and developing comprehensive treatment plans.
• The role also involves collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care and participating in ongoing research and innovation within the neurology department.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Fellowship or Postgraduate qualification (e.g., FWACP, FMCP, or equivalent) in Neurology.
• Proficient in the diagnosis and management of neurological disorders including stroke, epilepsy, neuropathies, movement disorders, and neurodegenerative diseases.
• Minimum of 3–5 years post-fellowship experience in Neurology practice, preferably in a tertiary or specialist hospital.
• Analysis and interpretation of EEG, NCS and EMG are added advantage
• Strong commitment to patient care, teamwork, and continuous professional development.
