About the Role
- We are seeking a skilled Content Writerto produce high-quahty articles for our newspaper, website. and social platforms.
- The role requires strong writing ability, SEO awareness, and consistency in meeting deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Write articles for newspaper, website, and social media platforms
- Generate story ideas and contribute to weekly content calendar
- Apply SEO best practices (keywords, tags, headlines, links)
- Fact-check and ensure accuracy of all content
- Source or attach visuals (images, short vicieos) with proper credit
- Update or repurpose content when required
- Collaborate with editors and digital teams to ensure smooth workflows
KPIs
- Meet daily and weekly article quotas as assigned
- Zero plagiarism and minimal factual/copy errors
- Proper SEO integration in all articles (keywords, headlines, tags)
- 100% timely submission of content
- Progressive audience engagement with written content
- Responsiveness to editor feedback and quick application Of corrections
- Consistent adherence to company editorial style and standards
Requtrements
- Minimum of 2 years proven writing experience
- Strong knowledge of SEO and digital content optimization
- Must owna laptop and have reliable internet
- Strong command Of written English and journalistic style
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle corrections promptly
- Creativity in content ideation and packaging
