We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Control Room Operator

Location: Rivers

Responsibilities

• The CRO oversees all FSO (LPG Loading, Offloading and other auxiliary) operations during his shift.
• Responsible for acting as an Operational Excellence Capital Steward and FSO Cargo Supervisor representative to ensure safe and efficient operations during his shift.
• This further includes the computation of daily LPG production figures.
• This includes Control Room monitoring of Refrigeration, Reliquefication Systems and Utilities systems parameters for optimum operation.
• Carry out safe LPG Loading, Storage, Transfer and ballasting operations to ensure positive stability and safe trim conditions are always maintained.
• The CRO is responsible to the Cargo Supervisor for ensuring readiness for LPG Offloading by ensuring applicable pre-offloading operational checks and line are completed in a timely mann

Requirements

• Certification as a Ship’s Deck Officer with relevant hydrocarbons experience and should haver preferably some time spent on a trading Oil Tanker.
• MCA Deck Officer Certificate of Competency, or equivalent
• Minimum of Navigation OOW Certification.
• GDMSS Communication Certification.
• Must have Marine Experience
• Relevant experience should include centralized control room operations.
• Must have BOSIET
