We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cook

Location: Port Hacourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Cook will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting meals of high quality in a timely and efficient manner.
• The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in food preparation, maintain excellent hygiene standards, and ensure customer satisfaction through consistent quality and taste.

Key Responsibilities

• Candidates residing within or close to Rumudara, Port Harcourt are strongly preferred.)
• Prepare and cook a wide variety of meals according to the menu and company standards.
• Ensure all food items are properly stored, labeled, and maintained in a hygienic condition.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the kitchen at all times.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Monitor food supplies and inform the supervisor of shortages or required stock.
• Assist in menu planning, portion control, and minimizing food waste.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and timely meal service.
• Follow all company policies regarding quality, safety, and kitchen operations.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE or OND qualification in Catering, Hospitality, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of proven experience as a Cook or Chef in a reputable kitchen.
• Good knowledge of local and continental dishes.
• Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team environment.
• Must reside within or close to Rumudara, Port Harcourt.

Salary
N60,000 per month.
