Job Title: Cost Controller

Location: Rivers

Job Summary

  • The Cost Controller will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and monitoring project costs and progress.
  • The role involves developing detailed project schedules, tracking financial performance, ensuring budget adherence, and providing timely reports to support effective project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Project Manager and Controller to develop and maintain resource-loaded schedules using MS Project.
  • Integrate multiple schedules into a master plan and track performance against baselines.
  • Prepare and update cost and schedule performance reports (Gantt charts, milestone charts, dashboards).
  • Monitor project expenditures, forecasts, and revenues, highlighting variances to management.
  • Conduct site visits to verify progress and gather accurate cost and schedule data.
  • Prepare monthly cost control reports and provide financial insights to maintain projects within budget.
  • Support project meetings with updated financial and schedule data.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • B.Sc Degree in Engineering, Finance, or related fields
  • 3 – 5 years of relevant experience in project cost control, planning, or scheduling — preferably in Construction, EPCIC, or Oil & Gas.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Project, Microsoft Office Suite (Primavera or SAP is an advantage).
  • Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.
