Job Title: Crèche Supervisor

Location: Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary

  • The Crèche Supervisor supports the Crèche Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring that children are cared for in a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
  • The role involves supervising nannies, coordinating activities, monitoring children’s welfare, and maintaining effective communication with parents and guardians.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily routines, play, and learning activities.
  • Ensure children’s health, safety, and emotional well-being at all times.
  • Monitor feeding, hygiene, and rest schedules.
  • Oversee the work of the nannies.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to staff.
  • Assist in preparing staff duty rosters.
  • Welcome and interact with parents/guardians in a professional manner.
  • •Share feedback on children’s progress and address concerns promptly.
  • Support parent meetings and feedback sessions.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and progress reports.
  • Report operational or child-related issues to the Creche Manager.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with health, safety, and childcare regulations.
  • Supervise cleanliness and proper use of toys, learning aids, and crèche facilities.
  • Observe and report any signs of health concern to the creche manager.
  • Assist in implementing recreational activities.
  • Provide emotional support and create a nurturing environment for all children.
  • Help organize special events, celebrations, or fun activities for the children.
  • •Foster teamwork and cooperation among staff members.
  • Ensure effective handover and communication between shifts.
  • Undertake any additional duties as may be assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree with 1 – 2 years experience.

Salary
N120,000 – N200,000 / month.
