Job Title: CRS Teacher

Location: Awka, Anambra

Job Description

  • We’re looking for passionate and dedicated CRSteachers to join our team.
  • We need a teacher who can create an engaging learning environment and help our students achieve their full potential.
  • This role requires a strong understanding of your subject matter and a commitment to our students’ academic and personal growth.

Responsibilities

  • Instruction and Curriculum: Deliver engaging and effective lessons in the following subject areas: Mathematics,ensuring the curriculum meets the requirements set by the governing body.
  • Student Development: Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning, critical thinking, and student well-being.
  • Assessment and Reporting: Evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and projects. Provide timely feedback and prepare performance reports for management and parents.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a well-structured and disciplined classroom.
  • Parent and Staff Communication: Participate in parent-teacher meetings and collaborate with other staff members to support student success.
  • School Duties: Contribute to the overall school community by supervising students, participating in extracurricular activities, and assisting with school events as needed.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with educational best practices and participate in professional development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Education: A Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Degree in the relevant subject area.
  • Certification: A valid TRCN (Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria) certificate.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 2years of experience teaching.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching with both the British and Nigerian curricula. (is an added advantage)
  • IGCSE. (is an added advantage)

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • A deep understanding of the subject matter and effective teaching methodologies.
  • Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive and positive attitude.

Salary
N80,000 – N90,000 per month.
