We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Delivery Driver

Location: Ajah, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Brief Description

  • Distribute products to customers in a safe and timely manner.
  • Represent JMG Ltd’s in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase profitability and customer satisfaction.

Duties

  • Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes.
  • Follow routes and time schedule.
  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle.
  • Report to his superior for any client complain or road issues.
  • Complete logs and reports.
  • Insure all vehicle particulars are in order .
  • Take up IMS responsibilities such as reporting unsafe act, condition or procedure in the work place, participating in fire or emergency drill at work, participating in incident reporting and investigation when necessary and adherence to Company policies.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Degree or equivalent.
  • Min 3-5 years of proven working experience as a Delivery Driver.
  • Having a valid professional driver’s license.
  • Good driving record with no traffic violations and willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations.

Competencies:

  • Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc…)
  • Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
  • Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc…)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Enthusiastic, dynamic and self-motivated
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent physical condition and coordination.
