We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Driver

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Safely transporting company staff as well as various products and materials to and from specified locations in a timely manner.
  • Assisting with the loading and offloading of staff luggage, products, and materials.
  • Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction
  • Keeping the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning and vehicle maintenance.
  • Providing accurate time logs of the company vehicle’s coming and goings.
  • Reporting any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management through the GM/operations Installations & maintenance.
  • Carry daily routine checks on the company vehicle to ensure before the start of a work day, it is in an excellent working condition and it has the necessary items needed in a car by Federal Road Safety Corps.
  • Perform some other undertakings like shopping, dropping and picking clothing, getting lunch, and running errands
  • Keep all records, including receipts for vehicle maintenance
  • Ensure that products and staff are protected and secured by adhering to traffic safety Rules and regulations.
  • Drive safely and responsibly at all times, obeying all traffic rules and regulations.
  • Defensive driving style must be employed while driving the company car at all times.
  • Ensure that your driver’s license is valid and a copy is present with you before driving any company car.
  • Ensure that all company vehicle paper license is not expired before driving any company vehicle.

Requirements

  • Minimum of SSCE or it’s equivalent with 5 years experience
  • Must have the ability to drive manual Vehicles (Hilux).
  • Ability to carry out routine check-up on daily basis
  • Should have valid driver’s license
  • Driving experience in a Company/Corporate Organization is a plus.
  • Ability to take cognizance of traffic rules and regulations
  • Adequate knowledge of road signs and symbols
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work smart at all times.
  • Must reside in Abuja.

Salary Range
N95,000 – 120,000 per month.
