We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Driver to the Managing Director

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing safe, timely, and efficient transportation services to the Managing Director, ensuring comfort, confidentiality, and reliability in all assigned duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely drive the Managing Director to and from meetings, appointments, and official engagements within and outside Abuja.
  • Maintain the vehicle in excellent working condition through regular cleaning, inspection, and servicing.
  • Plan routes effectively and stay updated on traffic patterns and road networks across Abuja.
  • Ensure the vehicle is always fueled, roadworthy, and compliant with all transport regulations.
  • Handle all driving assignments with professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Promptly report any vehicle faults or incidents to management.
  • Run official errands as directed by the MD or administrative team.
  • Maintain accurate trip and mileage logs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of SSCE or equivalent qualification.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional driving experience, preferably as a corporate or executive driver.
  • Excellent knowledge of Abuja road networks, routes, and traffic patterns.
  • Must be punctual, trustworthy, and well-groomed.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
  • Must reside within Abuja or its environs.
