We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Electrical Engineer, GET

Location: Gujeni, Kaduna
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems including motors, drives, switchgear, and control panels
  • Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities to reduce downtime
  • Monitor and analyze equipment performance using diagnostic tools and sensors
  • Participate in root cause analysis for electrical failures and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with mechanical, instrumentation, and process teams to ensure smooth plant operations
  • Document maintenance activities, technical reports, and equipment logs
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes
  • Learn and apply PLC programming and SCADA system operations
  • Contribute to energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives within the plant.

Qualifications & Skills

  • B.Eng / B.Sc / HND in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution with 0 – 2 years work experience.
  • Completion of NYSC (for Nigerian candidates)
  • Strong theoretical foundation in electrical machines, power systems, and control engineering
  • Basic knowledge of industrial automation and instrumentation
  • Proficiency in MS Office and electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Willingness to work in a rugged industrial environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
