Job Title: Experienced Driver

Location: Lagos Mainland (Ikeja), Lagos

Role Purpose

  • We are seeking a highly skilled and responsible Driver to join our client’s team in the Energy Sector.
  • The ideal candidate will professionally represent the Company through safe driving practices, vehicle maintenance, and courteous service.
  • This role is critical to ensuring smooth transport of staff and equipment to and from official assignments while upholding the highest standards of safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely drive staff and goods to designated locations, always exercising defensive driving techniques
  • Maintain cleanliness and optimal working condition of the assigned vehicle
  • Conduct routine vehicle checks and report maintenance needs promptly
  • Monitor fuel levels and ensure timely refuelling
  • Keep accurate mileage and fuel logs
  • Ensure valid and up-to-date driver’s license
  • Adhere strictly to traffic laws, company policies, and operational health & safety regulations
  • Report any accidents or incidents involving company vehicles or equipment
  • Park vehicles only in designated areas
  • Support office operations when not engaged in driving duties.

Minimum Requirements

  • Credit in Mathematics and English in WAEC/NECO/GCE/NABTEB or Trade Test I, II, III / Federal Craft Certificate
  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience as a professional driver
  • Proficient in driving manual transmission vehicles
  • Valid Nigerian Driver’s License

Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills:

  • Fleet management and vehicle safety systems
  • Strong knowledge of Lagos Road networks (especially Lagos Mainland)
  • Defensive driving expertise
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
