Animal Protein Solution Nigeria Limited is an agro-allied farming enterprise committed to addressing food scarcity by providing quality livestock products and supporting other livestock farmers with sustainable maggot-based feed for their fishery and poultry operations.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Farm Officer

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day livestock production activities.
  • Ensure proper feeding, breeding, and health management of livestock
  • Maintain farm machinery, equipment, and infrastructure.
  • Supervise farm workers and assign tasks effectively.
  • Monitor staff performance and ensure adherence to safety and operational standards.
  • Provide training and guidance on best farming practices.
  • Keep accurate records of farm inputs, outputs, and expenses.
  • Provide regular reports to management on farm productivity and challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with agricultural regulations, health & safety policies.
  • Monitor product quality standards and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure cost-effective procurement and usage of farm resources.
  • Stay updated with modern farming practices and technology.
  • Recommend innovations that enhance farm productivity and sustainability.

Requirements

  • Minimum of OND certification.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in farm management, livestock farming.
  • Experience with farm machinery and modern agricultural techniques is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of livestock production cycles.
  • Familiarity with farm equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Basic knowledge of farm financial management and record keeping.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of physical fitness and resilience.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work in rural/remote farm locations.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends if needed.
  • Passion for agriculture and continuous improvement.
  • A team player with a collaborative approach to teaching.

Salary
N80,000 Monthly.
