Job Title: Field Service Manager – Cementing

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Description

• We are looking for a Cementing FSM that will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all cementing operations in the field.
• This role ensures service quality, operational efficiency, safety compliance, and customer satisfaction by leading field service crews, managing resources, and providing technical and operational expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage employees in all PSL and regional initiatives, fostering alignment with company objectives in the field.
• Evaluate service quality through performance metrics such as equipment maintenance compliance and readiness, and apply findings to improve HSE, efficiency, customer satisfaction, and cost control.
• Identify and assess risks, develop and implement risk responses, and continuously monitor risk throughout operations.
• Conduct audits, job program reviews, technical proposal reviews, and customer cost estimates, ensuring compliance and operational readiness.
• Manage contract operations by resolving billing disputes, performing activity debriefs, and conducting service delivery closure activities.
• Collaborate with HR to recruit, develop, and assess operational staff, including handling performance management and disciplinary actions.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships, resolving operational disputes, and ensuring service delivery meets agreed expectations.
• Lead HSE and Service Quality incident investigations, ensuring timely closure of action items and preventive measures.
• Oversee asset control and utilization, support business planning, and propose innovative cost-reduction and efficiency initiatives.
• Support cementing operations by reviewing job plans, addressing pre-job equipment concerns, and using technical expertise to resolve field execution problems.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of B.Eng. in an engineering-related field
• Minimum of Second Class Upper Division (B.Eng)
• Industry certifications such as Well Control (IWCF or IADC), HSE certifications (NEBOSH, OSHA), and cementing-specific training from recognized OEMs/service companies are highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of cementing engineering principles, slurry design, and zonal isolation techniques.
• Proficiency in cementing design software and oilfield operational management systems.
