Job Title: Financial Accountant (Planning and Reporting)

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Summary

  • Are you a detail-oriented finance professional with a passion for budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • We are seeking a Financial Accountant (Planning and Reporting) to support our finance team in delivering accurate financial insights, driving compliance, and enhancing business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and financial reports
  • Support the development of financial models and performance dashboards
  • Conductvariance analysis and track financial performance against budgets
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end management reports
  • Ensure timely financial compliance and audit support
  • Collaborate with business units to align forecasts with operational data
  • Maintain and improve financial reporting templates and tools
  • Assist in ERP and reporting system enhancements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 4 – 7years’ experiencein financial planning, reporting, or audit
  • StrongExcel skills(financial modelling, pivot tables, advanced formulas)
  • Knowledge ofIFRS/GAAP reporting standards
  • Exposure toERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.)is an advantage
  • Experience inOil & Gas, Energy, or FMCG sectorsis a plus.
