We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Fixed Asset Inventory Control & Accounting Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Description

  • This role is responsible for the accurate recording, tracking, and reporting of the company’s fixed assets and inventory.
  • The officer ensures compliance with accounting standards, maintains detailed asset registers, manages periodic stock counts, and provides accurate reconciliations to support financial reporting and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is required.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in fixed assets, inventory, or cost accounting roles.
  • Hands-on experience with has ERP systems in asset andinventory modules.
  • Oil & gas or manufacturing sector experience is an added advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting for fixed assets and inventory.
  • Excellent reconciliation and record-keeping skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
