We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Fondant Cake Decorator

Location: Gbagada, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Design, bake, and decorate cakes using fondant and other decorating techniques.
  • Create customized cake designs according to client requests and event themes.
  • Ensure high standards of cake finishing, detailing, and presentation.
  • Mix, color, roll, and sculpt fondant into various shapes and decorations.
  • Collaborate with clients to bring their cake concepts and inspirations to life.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the baking and decorating area.
  • Ensure timely delivery of orders without compromising on quality.
  • Stay updated on new cake decorating trends, techniques, and tools.
  • Manage inventory of baking and decorating supplies, ensuring availability for orders.
  • Adhere to food safety and quality standards at all times.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 – 5 years proven experience as a fondant cake decorator.
  • Strong creativity and artistic skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work on themed cakes, wedding cakes, and custom designs.
  • Knowledge of current cake decorating trends and techniques.
  • Good time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Portfolio of previous fondant cake work will be an added advantage.

Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 Monthly
