We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Foreman – Pipe Fitter (Level 5)

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

  • We are seeking a senior-level Pipe Fitter (Level 5) / Foreman to oversee multiple piping teams, manage installation activities, and ensure compliance with design and safety standards.
  • The candidate must have proven leadership experience in mechanical project environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate all piping works on assigned sites.
  • Supervise multiple teams of fitters and monitor productivity.
  • Conduct inspections and verify compliance with design drawings.
  • Prepare daily progress and quality control reports.
  • Plan manpower, tools, and materials for project needs.
  • Liaise with engineers, supervisors, and clients.

OHSE Responsibilities:

  • Enforce strict compliance with HSE policies.
  • Ensure daily pre-task safety checks and use of PPE.
  • Lead toolbox talks and incident reporting.
  • Support a culture of safety and environmental awareness.

Qualifications & Experience

  • OND / HND / BSc Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 8 – 10 years of experience in piping installation, including 3 years in a supervisory role.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and teams.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making capability.

Knowledge & Technical Requirements:

  • Comprehensive understanding of mechanical drawings and specifications.
  • Expertise in pipe alignment, fabrication, and hydro testing.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance and site documentation.
