Job Title: Graduate Trainee – Mechanical, Mining, Metallurgical, and Electrical Engineering

Location: Kaduna

Job Summary

  • We are seeking passionate and motivated Graduate Trainee Engineers to join our dynamic team across Mechanical, Mining, Metallurgical, and Electrical disciplines. This program offers recent graduates an opportunity to gain practical exposure, technical skills, and leadership capabilities in a fast-paced mining environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in structured training programs covering technical, operational, and safety aspects of mining operations.
  • Assist senior engineers in the design, analysis, and optimization of mining processes and equipment.
  • Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Perform field measurements, data collection, and report preparation under supervision.
  • Learn and apply industry best practices for safe and efficient mining operations.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve operational challenges.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.Eng/B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
  • 0 – 1 year post-NYSC work experience (recent graduates encouraged to apply).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to work in a mining site environment.
  • High level of initiative, adaptability, and eagerness to learn.
