Job Description

Palace workers Solution, a third party company, is recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Griller

Location: Ogba, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

  • Food preparation: Season and prepare fish, chicken, turkey, vegetables, and other items for grilling.
  • Cooking: Grill and cook a variety of food items to perfection, following established recipes and customer specifications.
  • Quality control: Monitor food temperature and quality, taste-test items, and ensure all dishes meet presentation standards.
  • Station management: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary grill station, including equipment.
  • Safety and sanitation: Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Inventory: Assist with managing inventory, reporting shortages, and properly storing and rotating food items.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with other kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Interested candidates should possess an OND qualification with 2 years experience.
  • Proficiency in grilling techniques and understanding of temperature control.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience in food preparation and a keen eye for detail is often required.
