Our team typically utilizes a blend of quantitative and qualitative methods to conduct rigorous data collection for design, implementation and evaluation of projects, programmes and policies.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Halaal – Process Certified Auditor (Non-Financial)

Location: Lagos 

About the Role

  • The Halaal- Process Certified Auditor (Non-Financial) is responsible for ensuring that all products, processes, facilities, and supply chains within specified industries with established Halaal standards.
  • This role requires in-depth knowledge of Halaal certification requirements, regulatory guidelines, production processes, and auditing best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct internal Halaal audits across production lines, storage, procurement, and distribution channels.
  • Verify compliance with recognized Halaal standards.
  • Review raw materials, ingredients, chemical handling, and supplier documentation for Halaal compliance.
  • Develop and implement Halaal-compliant procedures and corrective actions where necessary.
  • Train staff on Halaal standards, handling protocols, and cross-contamination prevention.
  • Maintain accurate audit reports, certification records, non-conformance logs, and improvement plans.
  • Liaise with external Halaal certification bodies and assist during official inspections.
  • Conduct risk assessments related to Halaal integrity and recommend process improvements.
  • Stay updated with changes in Halaal regulations and communicate updates to management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Qualification in Quality Assurance, Food Science, Compliance, Training & Development, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance, or Halaal compliance roles.
  • Recognized Halaal Certification
  • Certification or experience in Halaal training is a must.
  • Strong understanding of Halaal standards, production and handling processes.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong documentation and organisational skills.
  • Ability to train diverse groups and adapt content to various departments.
