Job Details

  • We are hiring a Head of Drivers to lead and manage our team of truck drivers. This role is ideal for someone who has firsthand experience as a truck driver and has successfully led driver teams. If you understand the road, the mechanics, and the mindset of a driver, we want you on our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise a team of truck drivers across multiple routes
  • Plan and optimize delivery schedules and route assignments
  • Monitor vehicle condition and support basic mechanical troubleshooting
  • Enforce safety standards and regulatory compliance
  • Mentor and train drivers to improve performance and efficiency
  • Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely deliveries

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess an NCE, OND, HND, Bachelor’s, or Master’s Degree
  • Prior experience as a truck driver (minimum 5 years)
  • Proven track record of managing truck drivers for at least 5 years
  • Basic mechanical knowledge of trucks and heavy-duty vehicles
  • Strong familiarity with regional and national delivery routes
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
