Job Title: Head of Legal (Mortgage Bank)
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic legal advice to Management & the Board
- Oversee contracts, agreements, and regulatory compliance
- Lead and manage the bank’s legal team
- Develop policies to manage legal risks
- Represent the bank in negotiations and proceedings
Requirements
- Called to the Nigerian Bar on or before 2009
- Proven experience in providing strategic legal counsel
- Strong background in Nigerian finance and banking laws
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Outstanding negotiation and stakeholder management ability
