Job Description:
The Head of Procurement will lead the procurement function for Yinson Holdings’ operations in Rivers State, overseeing the development and execution of procurement strategies that align with the company’s business objectives. This role involves managing supplier relationships, negotiating high-value contracts, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate governance standards. The incumbent will be responsible for driving cost optimization, mitigating supply chain risks, and leading a team of procurement professionals. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and legal is essential to ensure procurement activities support project timelines and quality standards. The role demands strategic vision, exceptional negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex procurement processes in a dynamic environment.

Job Requirements:

Extensive experience in procurement leadership within oil and gas, construction, or heavy industry sectors.

Proven ability to develop and implement procurement policies and strategies.

Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

In-depth knowledge of procurement laws, ethics, and best practices.

Ability to lead and mentor a diverse procurement team.

Professional certifications such as CPSM, CIPS, or equivalent are advantageous.
