Job Title: HR Officer

Location: Agege, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • The Human Resource Officer will provide comprehensive HR support across key functional areas including performance evaluation, training and development, compensation and benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance with Nigerian Labour Law.
  • The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of HR experience and a proven ability to foster a productive, compliant, and supportive work environment within a fast-paced organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support line managers in setting employee performance goals and KPIs.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to improve employee performance.
  • Identify training needs and recommend suitable programs.
  • Coordinate staff training sessions, workshops, and learning initiatives.
  • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of training interventions.
  • Assist in daily Attendance management and review .
  • Manage employee benefits such as leave, pensions, HMO and insurance.
  • Handle employee queries, grievances, and conflict resolution in line with policies.
  • Promote a positive and engaging workplace culture.
  • Support HR initiatives that improve employee retention and satisfaction.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with Nigerian Labour Laws and internal policies.
  • Maintain up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • B.Sc / HND in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years HR experience, experience in financial services, fintech, or corporate organizations is an added advantage.
  • Solid knowledge of Nigerian Labour Laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary
N80,000 / Month
